Volunteer

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis.

Hatfield Foodbank has an amazing team of volunteers. Most of our volunteers fulfil various roles between 9am and 3pm on Tuesdays. These include:

• collecting donations from our supporting supermarkets
• sorting and storing the items donated
• packing food parcels
• meeting clients and giving out food parcels

We occasionally have opportunities to help at weekends, usually during supermarket collection events.

Please note: we have no vacancies for volunteers at the moment.
